Google Camera 6.2: With this update the app detects kisses, download the APK

Google Camera 6.2 adds many new AI-powered features to Pixel 3, including Night Sight, TopShot, and now Photobooth. This latest feature replaces what Google Clips already does, but now with a mode that automatically detects kisses and other facial expressions. Photobooth is accessible from the “Other” tab and allows photos to be taken automatically when subjects perform certain actions.

Kiss detection lets you take a photo as soon as a kiss is detected by the Pixel 3’s dual selfie photo sensor. Other facial expressions can also trigger the shot. Google talks about emoticons “smile, tongue sticking out, duck face/kisses, puffy cheeks and surprise”. Google Camera 6.2 is already available on Play Store and APK Mirror.

Unfortunately, you’ll have figured out, you need to own a Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL to take advantage of these facial expression detection to trigger the shot. Often times, Google reserves such innovations for its own smartphones. But these features are usually quickly available on many other Android smartphone models, either officially or through unofficial ports.
