Galaxy S8 Can’t Compete With The Secret New Android Phone

Back in March, we learned that Android co-founder Andy Rubin is working on a stunning new Android smartphone with his company, Essential. And if the latest teasers are any indication, the Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8 will blow up the competition.

Basic Today tweeted out “Something big is coming” on May 30. Then Andy Rubin almost ready to share what the company is busy working on. From the few images we’ve seen so far, Samsung may be in trouble.

All we know is that this phone will have almost no bezels around the widescreen. Smaller bezels than Galaxy S8 or LG G6. The company is also installing a new magnetic strip on the top for modular accessories. Rubin’s hidden feature is likely an additional 360-degree camera, AR lens, and other accessories.

Bloomberg in January suggested Metal and ceramic construction materials are used on the back of this premium new Android smartphone. Not to mention the big screen on the front. Xiaomi Mi Mix. The report also states that the company has developed “a proprietary connector that serves double duty to charge the battery and expand the phone’s functionality over time.” The magnetic connector will work with 3rd party accessories.

Based on these comments, we can expect the phone to feature modular features as we’ve seen from Motorola and LG. The company confirmed this rumor with the above image just posted to Twitter.

After that a fan was replaced Looking at the image a little, we can clearly see some kind of lens attachment on the Essential smartphone. The image also suggests a larger bezel at the bottom for capacitive navigation buttons, a front-facing camera, and even a fingerprint scanner.

Based on everything we’ve seen, this phone should have a large 5.5- to 6-inch bezel-less display and a new proprietary connector on the top for fast charging and connectivity accessories. Again, everything else about this exciting new Android smartphone is a complete mystery. Given what we know though, it could have some cool new features that will blow up the Galaxy S8 and Apple’s upcoming iPhone version.
