Where to Find Fugitive Notes for Morusque

Stray Notes are a collectible item hidden around the Slum area, and there are eight in total. If you explore the area near the Guardian, then you will meet Morusque, a musician with an unfortunate predicament because he doesn’t actually know any songs, so it’s up to you to find sheet music for them so they can learn how to play. Returning each of these notations to Morusque will not only give you a cute musical break, but handing in all eight will earn you the Meowlody trophy, so if you’re ready to follow them, here are all of the Stray Sheet Music locations in the Slums.

Stray Notes 1/8 – Petite Valse

Head up to Momo’s house at the top of The Slums, then once inside, go through the barred doors to the next room and climb onto the boxes to reach the notes on a shelf. You can also officially start the Stray Notebooks quest by going to Momo while you’re here.

Stray Sheet Music 2/8 – Song of the Lone Robot

Climb to the right of the yellow-lit window above the bar, to the small balcony with a table and chair overlooking the main area. Once there, take the notes off the table.

Stray Sheet Music 3/8 – Untitled

Enter Elliot Programming by following the binary code signs on the door, then make a Stray Scratch on it to let it in. After going through the door, go straight ahead and take the notes on the left side of the big board. document. You’ll also find one of the Stray Memories going up the stairs, checking the plants growing there.

Stray Notes 4/8 – Your Calculation Tonight

You need to purchase these notes from The Market Place vendor Azooz for an energy drink can. You can get an energy drink can from the vending machine opposite Morusque, but there are three more vending slots, and you’ll need energy drink cans from all four to unlock one of the Escape from Azooz memorabilia and music page:

• On the side street you enter the area, next to the graffiti that says RIP Humans
• On a balcony above Rozey, the robot was sitting in an alley, watching TV.
• In the loft just below the area near the library where you can sit on the sofa and change the TV channels

Once you have a can of energy drink, cross the Guardian and go down the stairs to find Azooz at The Market Place. Review the music page, then show the energy drink can to purchase.

Stray Notes 5/8 – Tomorrows

Inside the bar, go to the upstairs area and then look for another piece of music to the side of the center table.

Stray Notes 6/8 – Cool Down

Climb the roofs above the bar to reach the yellow-lit window and a glowing lantern hanging beside it. Once inside the building, go through one of the holes in the door to reach the bedroom and check the shelves to the right of the bed.

Stray Notes 7/8 – Light Highlights

Climb onto the rooftops above the alley you entered the area and look for a set of yellow lights hanging over a sofa and TV – here is a separate prize to be won by navigating through all the channels using the remote control. Beyond that there is a blue-lit balcony leading to the library and inside you will find these notes on the piano.

Stray Notes 8/8 – Unreadable Notes

The last piece of notes is inside the safe at the end of the alley beyond Morusque, requiring the Stray safe code to open. There’s a full process for finding and opening this code, which we cover in our separate guide, but you can skip typing it altogether. 1283.
