StopCovid: all this for 14 notifications?
StopCovid has been downloaded 1.9 million times to date on the Play Store and App Store. Yet in this number of downloads, only 1,814,048 users actually activated the app. And since it is possible to disable StopCovid or even uninstall the app, there are still numbers there.
Like this 23,953 people disabled the app in the last three weeks. And 460,000 people removed it completely. Just last week, the number of people who removed StopCovid reached “tens of thousands”. A bad outcome that Cédric O attributes to the sense that the coronavirus crisis is over in France.
But there are still new cases every day, and the country is not immune to a new wave this summer or winter. In addition, the Minister ensures: “app works fine […] We follow most of the people we need to follow.” However, StopCovid has sent an incredibly low number of notifications.
