The company now has three different types of nibs for its pens: Mesh Tip, Disc Tip and the highly advanced 1mm Pressure Sensitive Tip. While the last one is reserved for flagship items, Jot Pro 3 uses the Disc Tip.

Precision Disc Tip only creates a precise point of contact with the screen It was designed as one piece to write exactly where you place it, but also for greater stability. Although there is no pressure sensitivity on the stylus, it still works quite accurately.

User experience

Yes, the stylus looks great and packs a lot of features for its price. But the fun doesn’t end there. The pen works really well, especially considering its competitive price. I’ve used it on many devices like the OnePlus 5T, iPhone 8 Plus, and my personal device, the Pixel 2. them, but then again, this is to be expected. Navigating between my home screen and other menus feels super smooth, and the pen itself feels like a smart pen actuation. I wanted to check the accuracy of the pen, so I downloaded a bunch of apps like: Evernote, Sketchand Adonit’s own advice, Fame. The screens can easily recognize the stylus, and I experienced negligible lag when operating the stylus.

The accuracy of the pen is great, but not perfect. Considering it’s not pressure sensitive either, it’s definitely not for the designer in you. Yes, Pro 3 holds its place in coloring applications such as: ColorMe, but that’s it. As for business users, you should find the Pro 3 quite easy to highlight items in presentations and mark up items in PDFs. Overall, considering the price point of this item, It is very suitable for daily use for taking notes, intermediate drawing and normal business tasks.
