5. Camera performance

HTC has one of the best cameras because of its dedicated image chip. The 8MP rear camera with autofocus, led support, F2.0 aperture and 28mm lens captures some of the best and fastest shots and performs well even in low light conditions thanks to the BSI sensor. Shutter lag is almost zero and focus is instant. The rear camera shoots in 1080 pi full HD. The front camera is 2.1MP camera that allows 1080 pi full HD video recording. There are some groundbreaking features like VideoPic: Capture 6 megapixel photos while simultaneously shooting HD video, Continuous shot: One-button continuous shooting, Smart Flash: Five flash levels that automatically adjust according to the distance to the subject, Travel mode: Every time your camera is ready for your next great shot Video stabilization: Removes judder for smooth, professional videos, Slow motion video capture and playback.

The device works out of the box android jelly bean 4.1.1 With HTC sense 4+. HTC user interface allows for many features such as many customization options, scene and skin, and live lock screen style. The phone is definitely eligible for the jelly bean 4.2 update in the next few months.

7. Performance

HTC Butterfly has top-notch hardware that promises to run your device without any glitches. 1.5 Quad core snapdragon s4 pro processor is a performance packed processor powered by 2GB RAM. It scores 8000 in the quarter benchmarks and only the similarly spec Google nexus 4 might come closer to it, but it can’t beat it.

8. Battery life

The device is powered by a 2020 mah non-removable Lithium-ion polymer battery. Non-removable battery has longer battery life than removable battery. The device is thin though.

9. Price factor

This is where HTC ruins the game with its hefty build. 45990 INR price tag Not only has it set a new benchmark for phones in the Indian market, it has also set the benchmark for being one of the most expensive phablets in India. HTC should have considered that when its direct competitor, the Samsung note 2, went on sale for INR 38000, this could be a decisive factor that ultimately affects HTC butterfly sales. I hope HTC realizes and lowers the price because even the price difference between 3k or 4k can have a huge impact on the sales of any smartphone in India and there is about 10k difference here.
