The AV Rising roadmap for 2022 is currently not available in any official form, a source of some disappointment for loyal players wondering how the game will evolve during Early Access. However, some comments have come from the Stunlock Studios developers about the game’s future, which can be used to understand what’s going on with the game and what a V Rising Roadmap might look like. We’ve gathered all the relevant information below for you so you can create your own personal roadmap for V Rising.
Is there a V Emerging Roadmap for 2022?
As mentioned earlier, there is no official roadmap for V Rising at the time of writing, but the developers and creative team have made some comments on aspects of the game they want to fix, add or improve in the near future. Of greatest interest to fans is probably Jeremy Fielding, community manager of Stunlock Studios (thanks IGN), detailing the team’s priorities and what they want to do in the coming months. Here are some highlights of the interview that show what’s to come for V Rising.
- Stunlock is currently focused on collecting player feedback and information on how viewers interact with the game, which will likely set priorities. Stunlock appears to be in the research phase, and Fielding says: “We know that there are a million base systems in the game that can expand in infinite directions(.) As we can see, we’re leaving it open a bit. how people interact with our systems as players will do anything. The way they play will always be different than you expect, especially if you give them an open world game. So we plan to adapt to that.”
- V Rising has plans to “expand and improve” its endgame. V Rising has some suitably tough endgame challenges, but the interview makes a non-specific comment about Stunlock’s desire to work through the later stages of the game and make them more meaty overall.
- Server options and player-made servers will be expanded. “One of the great things about our games is the flexibility of our servers and the different ways we offer people to tailor their experience to make it their own,” Fielding said. He stated that building on this principle will be the focus in the future.
- Immediate priorities are bug fixes and functionality. Before adding new content, the first concern seems to be to make sure the game is as stable as possible, and Fielding states: “We’re making sure everything is OK right now”. That’s understandable – the game didn’t last long and is still in Early Access at the time of this writing. It’s important to know that everything works before you decide what to add.

Beyond that, we recommend players keep an eye on Stunlock’s official. excitement and conflict channels, their reactive approach to player input means that players can communicate their thoughts and ideas as well as directly see their next plans. they have already added V Rising offline modewas first announced via Discord – a fact to keep in mind for those who want to know what’s next in the Vardoran world. This update also included some new V Rising console commands and cheats, so there’s something for those who want to explore the world with a little more freedom.
It’s also important to acknowledge that a large part of the V Rising map – particularly the Hallowed Mountains – is currently unavailable and greyed out. We can only assume that this will fill in at some point in the future, and that the Blood Key created with V Rising Blood Essence will also have some use (as the flavor text hints at an app yet to come).
