While Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving wasn’t selected for any of the All NBA teams, Jalen Rose certainly thought otherwise. Safe to say, his approach may have surprised many analysts and reporters. One of them was sports media personality Stephen A Smith, unable to control his shock as he questioned Kyrie’s choice.
The NBA countdown was a lively show as Stephen A Smith questioned how Kyrie Irving was voted into the All-NBA team. He continued to appeal the decision, adding that the Nets’ star guard would not even be on the All G league team – as he had never played there either. Smith was agitated by the decision and lashed out at Jalen Rose, who announced she had voted for Kyrie, surprised when Smith shouted “what” in disbelief to the rooftops of the building.
Furious, Stephen A. Smith explained to Jalen Rose why he would never put Kyrie Irving in the All-NBA 3rd team, and then made him feel bad for what he had done – reminding him of his previous words and playing situations for the Nets Superstar.

Coming back to Kyrie Irving’s voting, the Nets star failed to play on any of the All NBA teams, but Jalen Rose acknowledged being the sole pick for the former NBA Champion and placed him in the NBA’s 3rd team. Shocked by the election, Stephen A Smith asked Rose to explain his “actions”.
Laughing at his own behavior, Rose said Kyrie was effective in these games despite only playing limited games during the regular season. He was the Brooklyn Nets’ dominant driver and deserves recognition for it, but he said it was a mistake.
ESPN’s sports analyst Smith reminded Rose of his earlier remarks about Irving. HE IS I said, “First of all, nobody questions Kyrie Irving for talent, we know he’s a box office. Not just me, you say he’s not available, you don’t want to get one for the team, and then you fire a bullet for him from behind like a sniper at night?”
As long as it’s a candid teaser for Jalen’s actions, Rose admitted the mistake and took ownership of it. While there are many opinions about the 15 cast and their positions, Kyrie may be the only one who got the only vote in the selection process and wasn’t discussed at many shows.
