How to Use Snapchat Bitmoji

The new Snapchat update lets you put Bitmoji on your Snapchat snaps. You can beautify your photos and videos on Snapchat using special Bitmoji stickers, and if your Snapchat friends also use Bitmoji, they can use special FriendMoji. In March 2017, Snapchat added more Bitmoji support with a new Snapchat widget for iPhone and iPad.

We’ll show you how to use Bitmoji in Snapchat so you can start adding a personal touch to all your Snaps. You can also send Bitmoji in Snapchat chats.

You don’t need to have Bitmoji installed for you to add Bitmoji to your friends’ Snapchat photos or videos, but they do for FriendMoji.

Download Snapchat and Bitmoji Updates

You will need to download the latest Snapchat update and Bitmoji update for this to work. You can find apps for free on the Google Play Store or iTunes. If you have automatic updates turned on, you may already have these versions.

Connect Your Snapchat and Bitmoji Accounts

This is the step where you might run into the issue. You need to open the Snapchat app and go to Settings.

There you should see an option to link your Snapchat accounts. If you see the option, you can link your accounts and you’re ready to use Bitmoji on Snapchat.

Use Bitmoji on Snapchat

Tap the sticker button on Snapchat.

Once the accounts are linked, you can use Bitmoji in Snapchat chats or add them to your Snaps.

To add Bitmoji to a Snap. First you need to get a Snap. On the screen where you can add emojis and stickers to your Snap, tap the Sticker button.

Tap a Bitmoji to add it to your Snap.

This will open a menu showing you many Bitmoji options. Tap one and you can add it to Snap.

You can add multiple Bitmojis to a Snap and reposition them for a fun or playful way to beautify your photos.

Pinch and zoom to enlarge or shrink Bitmoji stickers on Snapchat. You can also rotate them to fit the Snap perfectly.

How to Use the Snapchat Bitmoji Widget

You can use the new Snapchat Bitmoji widget on the iPhone today screen and any screen on Android. The guidelines are different for iPhone and Android, and you may run into problems if you don’t have a Snapchat Best Friend who uses Bitmoji. You were warned.

How to use Snapchat widget on iPhone?

Swipe to today screen on iPhone. Scroll down and tap on edit and then scroll to find Snapchat. Tap on plus. Then you can go back to the widgets to move them wherever you want using the little swipe options on the right of the screen.

Press and hold anywhere on an empty part of your screen on Android. Tap on widgets and then find Snapchat Widget. Choose whether you want to show one friend or multiple friends. Place the widget on your home screen. Tap and hold to change location.

Snapchat Best Friends are the friends you talk to the most. You will need Snapchat Best friends for this to appear and work.
