The Goya-Move app is a new way for kids to limit phone usage and screen time without playing the bad guy and asking them to put down their phone every day. The Goya-Move app consolidates access to activity, especially steps, rather than simply placing limitations on apps.
Your child can use their apps when they reach their daily step goal. This encourages physical activity and helps to strike an overall balance between screen time and physical activity.
The app also allows you to limit access to certain web pages, add steps for sports activities that your child is not on their phone. According to the International Journal of Behavioral Nutrition, children ages 6 to 14 should take 10,000 to 15,000 steps a day. With the Goya-Move app, you can link it directly to accessing your favorite apps.
This parental control app gives kids an incentive to quit their app and get moving.
The Goya-Move application is a two-part application. An app is available on the parents’ phone; this is where they can set daily and hourly step goals to unlock specific app usage and active hours where steps are counted. Parents can choose which apps to block, including Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube and more. The service can also block website versions of these apps on the device so kids can’t browse using just their browser.
When your child reaches his hourly goal, he unlocks apps for that period. Once they reach the daily goal, they unlock apps for the rest of the day. You can set specific times when they can’t use apps even if they reach their goal. This could be during dinner, during certain homework hours, or at night when they need to be in bed. It also allows you to track your child’s progress throughout the day and see movement progress.
You can try Goya-Move free for 5 days, after which you will need to choose a plan. The app starts at $1.99 per child, $2.99 per month for 2 child devices, $3.99 per month for 3 child devices, and $4.99 per month for four or more child devices.
The Goya-Move app is now available for Android. After the team completes a few updates, the iPhone will be backed up in the App Store. You can download it from Google Play and check Goya-Movement For more information.
