Android 12 paved the way with a brand new app permissions panel. Android 13 aims to follow in his footsteps and improve functionality a bit more. To understand what Google is trying to do, you need to take a look at the current settings of the operating system. Currently, security and privacy settings, understanding the data we transmit and the authorizations we give to the applications are in two separate sections.
But both have a common purpose: protecting the user’s privacy. That’s probably why Mountain View decided to group them into a single menu in Android 13. According to the latter, it is possible to configure functions as follows: find my place as well as checking for updates from the same window.
Android 13 will make security management even easier
Google obviously wants to put the package on the security side for this new update. We recently learned that clipboard content will be automatically deleted after a certain period of inactivity to prevent malicious apps or other users from accessing it. Additionally, users will be notified when an app accesses it.
The firm is also expected regarding the performance of the operating system, which among other things should launch the most demanding games faster. But keep in mind that Android 13 is still in development and not all of its promises are fulfilled. Until its final launch, further improvements are expected.
