For sure, the career of GTA 5 is not ready to end. Indeed, the Rockstar giant is preparing to return to PS5 and Xbox Series X starting March 15, 2022. Certainly, all these contributions will also be available in GTA OnlineMultiplayer mode of GTA 5. Moreover, GTA Online will be a stand-alone mode. players will be able to purchase separately from the PS Store or Microsoft Store.

GTA 5: next-gen version will not be free…
However, one question remained unanswered. Will owners of the game on Xbox One and PS4 have to pay again to take advantage of this PS5 and Xbox Series X version? And if yes, How much will this update cost? Rockstar and Sony have finally come to give details on the matter. First of all, keep in mind that this “next-gen” GTA 5 will not be available for free to game owners on PS4 and Xbox One.
Therefore it will be necessary Pay 39.99 € to get the package that includes GTA 5’s Solo and multiplayer mode. And if the story does not interest you, you can choose GTA Online, which is sold for only 19.99 €. But beware, Take-Two Interactive has decided to mark this event by offering significant discounts at launch. Thus, GTA V (solo + GTA Online) will be shown on PS5 until 14 June 2022 at €9.99 instead of €39.99. As for Xbox Series X/S players, the solo price will rise to €19.99, while the Online mode will be available for €9.99.
