Now that we’ve learned what Gravatars are and how to change the default Gravatars in WordPress, the only thing we haven’t discussed in detail yet is how to disable Gravatars on your website.
This is really a very simple thing to do. All you have to do is go to your admin control panel and click on it. Settings > Discussion.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page avatar Episode. Under avatar screen you will find Show Avatar choice. Uncheck the box and that’s it. You have now successfully disabled Gravatars on your WordPress website.
