tennis icon Chris Evert married retired Australian golfer Greg Norman In 2016, after several years of dating, which included romantic trips around the world. But to everyone’s shock, they decided to separate after only 15 months of marriage. While the actual reason for the separation is still unclear, it is said that their ex-spouses and problems within the family are the main reasons why they decided to separate.
Years after their breakup, in 2016, Norman was asked a question about Evert after rumors of their reunion resurfaced. The golf legend was very upset by all the rumors, describing all such articles as ‘baseless’.
“A lot of people are hurt by these re-quoted baseless and banal articles, but I guess that factor is never taken into account by the journalists who wrote them and the editors who endorsed them.” told News Corp. Sunday Post newspaper.

Citing the trust of his current wife, Greg Norman denied all rumors that he was reuniting with Chris Evert.

He said his wife knew that all these rumors were ‘made up bullshit’ and that his family didn’t care much for these unfounded rumors. He said his wife trusted him and knew his position.
“My wife (Kirsten Kutner) knows it’s made-up bullshit and gives it the attention it deserves, but it hurts to some extent to see her cut and pasted her photo in a magazine to deliberately make a situation look dire… She knows. He knows where I am when I am a target.” He Additional.
Evert is currently battling ovarian cancer. He was diagnosed a few years ago and has now completed his sixth chemotherapy session and has a very good chance of beating the cancer.
