After a short-lived acting career, Nick Bollettieri began his coaching career in the ’60s. He founded the Bollettieri Tennis Academy in 1978, which has produced extraordinary talents over the years. The academy was eventually sold to IMG only ten years later, but Nick remained and continued to train the actors.
Nick Bollettieri has been struggling with physical ailments for the past few years. According to the information obtained, the legendary coach is thought to be struggling with a kidney infection.

“I don’t know if I’ve been sitting still long enough in my life to look back and think about what I’ve accomplished with my players. It was always a case of winning one tournament and moving on to the next. There was no time to think.
