WhatsApp has started rolling out its updated user interface for Android to a select group of beta testers. It looks like WhatsApp has chosen version 2.23.21.12 to introduce these design changes, but not all users of this version have access to the new features. This isn’t the first time WhatsApp has completely rearranged its app interface.
According to the website, the redesign is expected to roll out to more users in the coming weeks. So, even if you are using the latest compatible beta update, it may take some time for the new WhatsApp interface to reach your Android device.
What changes are there in the WhatsApp interface on Android?
According to information from WABetaInfo, the renewed user interface, inspired by Material Design 3, brings new icons as well as new icons and colors. Changes to chat bubbles and floating action button. Additionally, the profile icon is now located in the upper right corner, next to the Camera and Search options.
