List of all blocks in Minecraft Ancient Cities!

Minecraft introduced the new Wild Update this year, with new additions coming to the game. Here are all the blocks to add to Minecraft Ancient Cities in Deep Dark.

Deep Dark was pushed back for release during the Minecraft 1.19 update and will now feature the new naturally generated structure called Ancient Cities. These will be found deep underground and naturally many new blocks have been added as well. These will further diversify the game and add a horror aspect to it, as well as beautify the forests of the Overworld.

Here is the list of all the blocks that have spawned so far in Minecraft Ancient Cities.

dirt

This is the latest infection to haunt the deep dark sections of the Caves called Deep Darkness. This will be found when infecting rock-like and stone-like blocks inside the Deep Dark biome, and it also glows in the dark with a dark green glow. Any additional properties for this infection are not known yet.

Sculk Catalyst

This is a new block for the Sculk family that showed up at the Minecraft Live 2021 show and has some interesting features. This will basically turn any mobs that die near him into EXP bait. EXP will be absorbed by Sculk Catalyst and Sculk will spread to other blocks surrounding the block.

This can also be broken by players to gain EXP, making it a storehouse of EXP.

Sculk Cries

Another block that will be exclusive to Sculk Shriekers, the Deep Dark biome, and Minecraft Ancient Cities. This block will detect any movement or loud sounds as vibrations through the Sculk Sensors. In turn, the block will make a loud sound that will vibrate throughout the entire place. Triggering this block too much will cause the Warden to spawn and hunt players.

Sculk Sensors

The Sculk Sensors are the trigger that will lead to the summoning of the Guardian within the Deep Dark. This block will pick up any vibration and trust it to Sculk Shriekers and other blocks.

Frame Block

The Frame Block will be a brand new building and craft material that will form the structures of the Ancient Cities. Naturally produced structures in cities will be built with this block. This has not been officially announced yet and more details about it will be announced soon.
