Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds are the latest wireless earbuds in the house of Samsung. This time around, Samsung has packed these buds with an excellent set of features, including spatial audio and noise canceling. And features like Noise Detection add to the convenience as it cares about automatically switching between ambient noise and noise cancellation. The best part is that connecting to Samsung Galaxy phones is as simple and easy as any other Android phone, iPhone or even Mac laptop.
Yes, you read it right. This pair of wireless earphones can also function as a pair of regular earphones. So it can be done whether you want to connect them to your Windows laptop or iPhone. The only downside is that you tend to lose some features when you connect to other devices.
So, if you’re up for it, let’s see how to connect your Samsung wireless earbuds to devices other than smartphones. But first,
- Bring your Galaxy Buds Pro headphones to life with these awesome cases and covers
- Want to protect your Galaxy S21 smartphone? Here are the best protective cases you can buy
1. Pairing Galaxy Buds Pro with iPhone
Stage 1: If you have paired the headset with another device, it is best to reset the headset before continuing. To do this, press and hold the touchpads until you hear a series of beeps.
step 2: Next, open the Bluetooth menu on your iPhone via the Control Center. If the buds are in pairing mode, they will appear in the device list.

Just tap to select and that’s it.
pros and cons
While all previous Galaxy Buds let you connect to Apple iPhones using the iOS Buds app, Galaxy Buds Pro do not support this feature. Instead of pairing via the app, you will follow the usual methods of connecting the wireless headset via Bluetooth.
That means you will miss out on features like Ambient Noise, touchpad customization, and more.
2. Pairing Galaxy Buds Pro with Your Windows PC or Desktop
Stage 1: Press Windows Key + I keys together to open Settings on your Windows 10 PC or laptop. Search for Device > Bluetooth and other devices and click Add Bluetooth and other devices > Bluetooth to start scanning.

If the Buds Pro earbuds are nearby, they will show up in the scan. Once complete, all you have to do is click Connect to complete the pairing process.

However, if the Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds don’t show up on the first scan, take note to rest the earpiece before trying to pair it again. To do this, plug in the Galaxy Buds Pro and press and hold the touchpads until you hear a series of beeps.
pros and cons
If your laptop has a newer Bluetooth card, Windows 10 also lets you enable Microsoft Swift Pair.

When enabled, the laptop provides the option to connect to previously connected Bluetooth devices such as headphones and headsets, even if they are disconnected or unpaired.

Second, Samsung Buds Pro gives you the option to play with touchpads. For example, a single tap will play/pause songs and a double tap will skip songs.
And here comes the interesting part. Long press the touchpad and the buds will switch to ANC. Is not it beautiful?
3. How to Pair Galaxy Buds Pro with Your Mac
Stage 1: Open the Action Center on your Mac (top right corner) and choose Bluetooth > Bluetooth Preferences from the menu. Again, you need to keep the buds close to your Mac.

If the headphones are in pairing mode, they appear under Devices. Click the connect button and that’s it.

Similar to Windows 10 laptops, you will be able to use all three touchpad actions. So if you hear someone calling while listening to your favorite songs on Spotify, you have to click once to pause the song. Is not it beautiful?
Bonus: How to Pair Galaxy Buds Pro with Your Samsung Smartphone
