How does FIFA 22 FUT Birthday work?
As with last year’s campaign, all featured cards gain either a five-star weakfoot or five-star skill moves, plus a boost to their stats. While Cristiano Ronaldo’s standard gold item only has four stars in its weekly episode, the new FUT Birthday card gives him a weak five-star foot and raises the overall rating from 91 to 94. The Portuguese talisman already had five stars, the skill acts as standard, so it retains this feature as well.
Who’s in FIFA 22 FUT Birthday Team 1?
The FIFA 22 FUT Birthday Team 1 landed on the promotion’s release date on Friday, March 4, with 11 players falling straight into the packs. Along with Ronaldo, he brought new cards for Atlético Madrid striker Luis Suarez (ST, 93), Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos (CM, 92) and stubborn Everton man Allan (CDM, 91).

Is there a FIFA 22 FUT Birthday SBC?
Certainly. In addition to the cards thrown into the packs, a FIFA 22 FUT Birthday SBC (Squad Building Challenge) was purchased for Henrikh Mkhitaryan (CF, 91) from Rome on the first day of the campaign. He already had a weak five-star foot and now takes five-star skill moves with him. Completing the challenge requires you to submit two squads, one based on TOTW player and one based on Serie A.
