We’ve provided some tips to potential iOS 10.3.3 users recently, and today we want to shift gears and offer some tips for those of you running iOS 10.3.
This guide walks you through some of the things you’ll want to do and some of the things you’ll want to avoid as you walk away from installation.
Connection Test
Perhaps the first thing you’ll want to do after installing iOS 10.3.3 is to check all your important connections to make sure they’re working properly.
A few of these tests will only take a few seconds. Test your Wi-Fi connection to make sure everything is working properly after the upgrade.
You’ll also want to switch to LTE/4G to make sure your cellular data is working. If you rely on GPS for your commute, you’ll want to test its accuracy.
Beyond that, you’ll want to try pairing your device with your favorite Bluetooth devices. Maybe it’s a speaker, headphones or your car. If you have an Apple Watch, you want to make sure your device is properly paired.
If you’re using your iPhone or iPad to control devices in your home, you’ll also want to make sure these connections are synced.
Check Apps and Services

Don’t Forget iOS 11 and iOS 11 Beta
Don’t get too comfortable with iOS 10.3.3.
Apple has confirmed an iOS 11 update for the fall. Unlike iOS 10.3.3, iOS 11 will be a massive landmark update with new features, tweaks and other changes.
The company hasn’t confirmed a specific iOS 11 release date, but is currently testing the third iOS 11 beta before the final release this fall.
Now is the time to start preparing for the ultimate successor to iOS 10. Review feedback from beta testers and try the iOS 11 beta on your device if needed.
If you decide to leave iOS 10.3.3, be sure to prepare your device for the iOS 11 beta. This is very important if you are trying out beta software for the first time.
