Apple has finally released the long-awaited iOS 13.4 update, and the successor to iOS 13.3.1, brings a number of important changes to the iPhone.

The iOS 13.4 update is the company’s fourth milestone upgrade for its iOS 13 operating system. This means it brings more than just bug fixes and other fundamental improvements. Milestone (xx) updates always bring new features.

As expected, iOS 13.4 includes various fixes, security patches and brand new features for iPhone.

If your iPhone is currently running iOS 13.3. The iOS 13.4 update is an 851MB download for the iPhone X and roughly the same for other versions of the iPhone.

If you’re using an older version of iOS 13 on your phone, you’ll likely see a larger download size because your iOS 13.4 update includes changes from any iOS updates you skipped.

If your phone is on iOS 13.3.1, the iOS 13.4 installation shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes to complete. It took about seven minutes to load on the iPhone X.

If your iPhone is having problems with iOS 13.3.1 or an older version of iOS 13, you may want to go ahead and install the iOS 13.4 update right now.

iOS 13.4 Issues

iOS 13.4 is causing issues for some iPhone users. Some of the issues are brand new, some are outdated from older versions of iOS.

The current list of iOS 13.4 issues includes installation issues, lag, Exchange issues, issues with first and third-party apps, hotspot issues, weird battery drain, and issues with Touch ID and Face ID. there is also this topic Prevents VPNs from encrypting traffic. Also available in iOS 13.3.

Note that if you can’t handle the performance of the iOS 13.4 update, you can no longer downgrade to the previous version of iOS 13 (iOS 13.3.1).

Apple also stopped logging on iOS 13.3 and below; that means you can’t roll back your phone to older versions of iOS 13. Keep this in mind before installing iOS 13.4 on your phone.

If your phone is really struggling and you don’t want to downgrade, you can try porting it to iOS 13.4.

iOS 13.4 Update: What’s New

The iOS 13.4 update brings a long list of changes to the iPhone. The list includes nine new Animoji and Memoji stickers, iCloud Folder sharing, a status bar indicator that will display when VPN is disconnected on full-screen iPhone models, and much more.

iOS 13 Jailbreak

this available jailbreak tool It supports iOS 13.3.1, but it is unclear whether it supports iOS 13.4. We should find out for sure in the near future.

For now, those who still jailbreak their iPhone should avoid upgrading.

Apple has pushed iOS 13.4. The update will likely carry bug fixes and security patches.

We don’t have a release date to look forward to, but chances are good the software will be released in April or early May after the testing period.
