Apple has finally released the long-awaited iOS 13 update, and today we want to tell you everything we know about Apple’s new operating system.
After months of testing, iOS 13 is out of beta for the iPhone and is a major upgrade for the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone X, iPhone XR. , iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.
If your phone is currently running iOS 12.4.1, you will get the shortest list of changes. If you’re upgrading from an older version of iOS 12, your iOS 13 update will be even bigger as you’ll get features and fixes for any updates you skipped.
Now that the operating system is out, we would like to provide you with a broad outline of the key components of the iOS 13 update including performance, devices receiving iOS 13, and the update’s features.
iOS 13 Reviews
If you’re currently running iOS 12.4.1, iOS 13 requires a pretty big download.
If you’re migrating from iOS 12.4.1, you’re looking at a 2GB download. The iOS 13 update is a 2.04GB download for the iPhone X and more or less the same for other iPhone models.
If you’re using an older version of iOS 12, you’ll see a larger download size because, again, your iOS 13 update brings features and fixes for updates you missed.
If you’re currently running iOS 12.4.1, iOS 13 may take 10 minutes or longer to install. It took about eight minutes to load on our iPhone X.

iOS 13 Issues
iOS 13 users are already reporting bugs and performance issues.
The current list of iOS 13 issues includes the usual suspects: installation issues, abnormal battery drain, issues with Touch ID and Face ID, issues with first and third party apps, lag, random reboots, and more.
If you run into an issue with iOS 13, check out our fix list for the most common iOS issues. We’ve also posted tips to help improve iOS 13 performance and tips to help improve battery life.
If you can’t handle the performance of iOS 13 on your device, you can try to downgrade.
Apple is currently signing the iOS 12.4.1 update; that means you can use a space to downgrade to the previous version of iOS. This option will only be on for a short time.
Unfortunately, you cannot downgrade from iOS 12.4. Apple has closed the path to older versions of iOS 12.
iOS 13 Update: What’s New
There are many new features for iPhone users in the iOS 13 update. These include Dark Mode, a new swipe keyboard called Quick Path, Low Data Mode, performance upgrades, and more.
Apple has also made some major performance improvements in iOS 13. Downloads are 50 percent smaller, Face ID is now 30 percent faster, updates are 60 percent smaller, and apps open twice as fast as they did in iOS 12.
Apple has already confirmed iOS 13.1 and the software is in beta testing before it’s released later this month.
The current version of iOS 13.1 includes some features that Apple has removed from the iOS 13 beta in the months since WWDC 2019. Unfortunately, iOS 13.1 currently does not include any new emojis.
Apple to celebrate World Emoji Day previewed emoji characters Coming to compatible iPhone models in the fall.
The Unicode 12 update includes a new smiley to yawn, a one-piece swimsuit, waffles, falafel, butter and garlic, and new animals like sloth, flamingo, orangutan, and skunk.
The new emojis aren’t available in the iOS 13.0 or iOS 13.1 beta, but we expect Apple to bring them to the iPhone sometime later this year within an xx milestone software update, possibly iOS 13.2.

iOS 13 Jailbreak
Earlier this year, jailbreak developers released a iOS 13 jailbreak. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen a public release, and probably won’t until long after the release of iOS 13.
However, if you’re interested in jailbreaking your device, you’ll want to keep an eye on iOS 13 jailbreak news as we move away from the official release.
what’s next
The next version of iOS 13 is coming next week.
Apple probably won’t release iOS 13.0. Instead, the company is preparing to roll out the landmark iOS 13.1 update alongside iPadOS 13 on September 24.
iOS 13.1 is set to offer bug fixes for some of the initial issues that plagued iOS 13. It will also bring features that Apple pulled during beta testing over the summer.
If you’re feeling cautious about migrating to iOS 13.0, you may want to wait for iOS 13.1 to arrive. It should be more stable than the first version of the operating system.
