Scroll down to the “Windows 11 Disc Image (ISO) Download” category and select from the “Windows 11 (multi-version ISO)” drop-down menu. Click Download and you will be able to select the language of the product. choose french, or any other language that interests you.
Then click “Download 64-bit”. then you can see file name Downloading the word “22H2” confirms that this is indeed the version that interests us. Store it wherever you want.
Create an installation USB key
The second step of this tutorial will ask you to create an installation USB key for this version of Windows 11. However, we can’t get past the official build tool, as this will not allow us to override official ISO compatibility checks. So you just need Download the Rufus softwarein a portable version so you don’t have to install it on your system.
After downloading, you can start it immediately. In the software interface, Make sure “Startup Type” is set to “Disk Image or ISO” and click “SELECT” to select the previously downloaded ISO. Then click START.
This is the most important step. A “Windows User Experience” window will open to allow you to change certain elements of your setup. Make sure “Remove need for 4GB+ RAM, Secure Boot and TPM 2.0” is checked.. The rest is up to you. Click OK and your USB drive will be formatted to create Windows 11 installation media.
Start Windows 11 22H2 installation
If you need Windows 11 on a brand new machine, all you have to do is insert this USB key and boot your blank PC to install the operating system. In our case, we don’t even need it: we just need it. Open the USB key in File Explorer After Windows 11, click “install”.
The Windows 11 version 22H2 installer starts. You can follow the normal installation steps up to the most important point: “Choose what to hide”. Here the first option will allow you to keep your apps and files as is. Therefore, as if you were going to install the 22H2 update.
The second option removes your apps but not your files. Finally, the last one will delete everything. Be careful to choose the right option to avoid unpleasant surprises! The installation will then begin, causing your computer to restart several times. On the first reboot, we recommend removing the USB key from your PC so that it doesn’t start accidentally.
Check your Windows 11 version
After this installation is complete, you can simply check that it went well. In your taskbar, Right click on the windows icon it usually starts your apps and select “System”.
In this window, you can check your version number in “Windows features”. If it’s 22:22, congratulations. : you have now installed the latest major update!
