We’ll assume you just got the HTC feel, so it’s in factory configuration. See our Android Vocabulary Dictionary for help with word meanings.
Step 1: Change your HTC Sensation to S-Off:
*to them drivers USB for PC: Download HERE
1/ Turn on your phone and serial number consisting of numbers and letters on the bottom of your battery:
2/ Restart your phone on the screen. bootloader, for this you must first remove your battery from the phone (to do a full reboot instead of a quick reboot). Then, simply turn on your phone by pressing and holding the POWER key and the VOL- key at the same time. You should encounter this:

3/ Go back to your computer, go to this site and download the Windows version.
Once you click on the “Download for Windows” option, a blue window will appear. Device “HTC Sentation”, fill in the HBOOT specified in 2) and the serial number request fields specified in 1).
click Generate Key and take note of the key!! (copy/paste to notebooks recommended)
4/ Install USB drivers for HTC feel (download link is available in prerequisites list)
5/ Your Sensation USB debugging (Settings/Applications/Development/Control “USB Debugging”
disable standby (Setting/Display/Screen Sleep/Never Turn Off)
6/ Connect your phone to your PC via USB, ” charging mode only »
7/ Extract the file named “revolutionnaty-0.4pre4.zip”. Launch the “Revolutionary.exe” executable.
8/ In the command window that opens, key from step 3 and verify
Your phone will reboot 4 times in a row and ask you if you want to install the app. RecoverySay yes if you want to install it.
9/ The window will close by itself. So here is a HTC Sensation S-Off
Step 2: Install ClockworkMod Recovery and 4EXT Recovery Touch
For those who didn’t say yes to installation at the end of step 1 Auto Mode Recovery For those who unplug (CWM) or USB cable too fast, here’s how to install CWM:
Prerequisites:
*An HTC Sensation S-off
* PG58IMG.zip folder
1/ Download Recovery 5.0.0.8 for HTC feeling HERE
2/ Copy the “PG58IMG.zip” file to the file. root From your SD card (Please do not rename the file under any circumstances!)
3/ Restart your phone. bootloader and wait for it to load
4/ Press when asked if you want to start the update. VOICE +
5/ Press the button at the end of the installation STRENGTH to restart your phone
6/ To delete “PG58IMG.zip” file on your memory card.
7/ Restart your phone on the screen. bootloaderand choose Recovery (use volume keys to navigate menus and POWER key to confirm)
8/ You have now entered the CWM of your Phone.
Not just CWM for those who don’t know Recoveryso i will explain how to install another Recovery (here 4EXT Recovery Touch). Don’t forget this step not requiredThis is more than enough for the rest of the CWM tutorial. I chose 4EXT as it uses the touchscreen to navigate its menus, displays the time, battery level and identifies the rom installed.
Prerequisites:
*An HTC Sensation S-off
*Root enabled ==> this Scene 3
* a file manager like “ES File Explorer” Available from the market free of charge
*If you already have CWM or other Recovery installed, no problem, don’t worry
1/ Download 4EXT Recovery Updater available for free This site (note that there is a paid version called 4EXT Recovery Control Available directly from the Market).
It is necessary to allow the installation of the 2/ application. unknown sourcesTo do this check Settings / Applications / Unknown sources
3/ Open ES File Explorer and search for “4EXT Recovery Update.apk”.
4/ Start the installation of the application and open it after installation.
5/ Select “I am updating online installation”, verify control of the phone and you will be able to choose between “CLASSIC” version and “TOUCH” version of Recovery.
6/ Select “TOUCH” and confirm
7/ Restart your phone on the screen. bootloader then go Recoveryyou are in now 4EXT Recovery Touch Recovery.
Step 3: Root HTC feel
Rooting a phone is required to root apps like Rom manager or Titanium backup. Feel free to head over to our forum for any root related questions!
Prerequisites:
*An HTC Sensation S-Off
*You have installed a recovery
*Download file su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip
1/ Connect your Sensation to your PC via USB
2/ Copy the “su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip” file to the file below. root from memory card
3/ Restart bootloader (by pressing the VOL- and POWER buttons at the same time) then Recovery
4/ Beginning BEFORE EVERYTHINGdo it backup your current phoneto be able to come back here if something goes wrong.
To do this, select “Backup & Restore” and then “Backup”. Note that by default the backup will carry the creation date as a name.
5/ Once and only after backup, select “Install zip from sdcard” then “Choose zip from SD card”
6/ Select “su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip” file and verify
7/ Wait for the installation to complete, then reboot your phone with “Reboot System Now”.
8/ Your HTC sense reboots as rooted!
Step 4: SuperCID
Now we will change its Sensation to SuperCID.
Prerequisites:
*” adb tools ” download here for windows
*Phone drivers installed on your computer
*Keep your emotion in “mode” USB debugging »
1/ After downloading the “adb.zip” file, create an “adb” folder in the root of your hard disk where you will unzip the “adb.zip” file.
2/ Open a command window, to do this click Start and type “cmd” in the “search programs and files” field. A console should appear.
3/ Connect your phone to PC via USB in “mode” just load “
4/ Type “cd c:\adb” in the command window and verify
5/ Then type: “adb devices”
Then confirm. A line containing Serial number If this is not the case for your Sensation, the drivers are incorrectly installed.
6/ Then type: “adb reboot-bootloader” Your smartphone then “bootloader”, if not, do it manually:
– Remove and replace battery
– Hold Volume Down key and press Power
– Go to Fastboot option and verify with Power
– Connect phone to computer via USB
7/ Type:
“fastboot oem writecid 11111111” then verify
Verify after “fastboot restart-bootloader”, wait for phone to reboot in “mode”bootloader”.
“fastboot getvar cid” and verify. You should then see the CID “111111111” confirmed.

8/ Your emotion will start again, congratulations you are in now SuperCID !
