If you’re one of the millions of people pre-ordering the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4S, you’re probably crazy with anticipation. If you’ve ordered through Apple, you’ve probably found yourself browsing the “Your Orders” page of the Apple Online Store. Well, if you resorted to this, you might have come across a certain “Preparing Shipment” phrase while trying to check if your iPhone 4S has been sent.
Of course, this doesn’t help you in the slightest. Fortunately, a reader TUAW decided to take matters into his own hands and found a quick way to find out where your new iPhone 4S is.
Here’s what you need to do.
Go to UPS’s website, you can find Hereand then click “Track by Reference”. While you’re there, you can use the phone number you registered on Apple.com and it should pull up your tracking information.
This does not apply to international orders, so we apologize to those outside the United States.
So give it a try and you should immediately have a new page to obsess over until your iPhone 4S shows up on your doorstep this Friday.
