The NFL Sunday Ticket is now available to anyone without the need for a DirecTV satellite subscription, but beware of the fine print, as there may be a catch.
Previously, NFL Sunday Ticket It was only available to DirecTV subscribers, and even then you had to pay for NFL streaming, which didn’t make as much sense with DirecTV as its exclusivity, but that’s changing now, as DirecTV announced. The big caveat here is that you have to be a cable subscriber for a provider. Supported by WatchESPNso if you’re considering getting WatchESPN as an effort to drop the cable, you may be greatly disappointed.
However, if you have an Apple TV, WatchESPN uses AirPlay to beam content to your living room television, allowing you to watch football matches on the big screen.
NBC Sports Live Extra
NBC Sports Live Extra It broadcasts thousands of live sporting events broadcast on NBC and NBCSN, including football games, but appears to be limited to Sunday games only at the moment.
However, the app also includes video clips, previews of upcoming events, and highlights from past events. You can even check out the schedule for when the app will broadcast its live content.
As with WatchESPN, NBC Sports Live Extra is better when the user has a cable subscription that will allow you to watch all the live sporting events, but otherwise it can still be a useful app.
