Sharing photos from iPhone is even easier with Shared Photo Streams in iOS 6.
In addition to the standard Photo Stream that syncs iPhone and iPad photos between devices, iOS 6 allows users to create a shared Photo Stream with specific photos.
This is better than posting photos on Facebook or emailing photos as it allows users to constantly add new photos to the shared Photo Stream.
Shared Photo Streams make it easy to share photos of a subject.
Users can share a Photo Stream with specific users, keep photos private, or make the Photo Stream public on iCloud with a link that can be added to Facebook and Twitter or emailed. This link displays photos from the web on Mac or PC.
When sharing a Photo Stream with a friend using an iPhone or iPad, that person will be able to subscribe to Photo Stream to receive updates on their device.
Why Use Shared Photo Stream?
Shared Photo Stream allows users to comment and like photos, just like Facebook, but users don’t need a Facebook membership.
These types of posts are perfect for events or topics like pets, babies, and kids.
Shared Photo Streams include notifications.
With Shared Photo Stream, I can add photos instantly, and users will receive notifications or check online to see new photos when they have time.

I can imagine friends with kids using something like this to share their kids’ progress from early years to college graduation with friends and family. The best part is, grandparents just need to click a link in an email and favorite the page to constantly take new photos.
