- Create a new post, add or edit filters and hit the next button
- In the last step before hitting “Share”, click near the bottom
- Select the slider in Advanced Settings
- Hit share and you’re done

Turn Off Comments On An Existing Post
If you’re having trouble with comments on a post that has already been posted and shared online, don’t worry. There is an option to disable comments on existing posts and turn them back on if needed.
Instead of getting mad at rude people and deleting your Instagram account, turn off all comments on a post. Unfortunately, there is currently no universal tool to turn off ALL comments for each post. This should be done one at a time or before shipping. Here’s how:
- Open Instagram and go to the problem photo/video
- Tap in the top right corner of any photo or post
- Select in the drop-down menu
That’s it and you’re done. Comments will be removed from the post and the little “chat bubble” used to post comments will also disappear. Most users won’t even notice it’s missing.
