While most users have multiple calendars synced to their iPhone, it’s a huge annoyance that their appointments don’t end up on the correct calendar. Most of the time, the default calendar will be the first one added to the iPhone. This may not be the most used account.
Sometimes a business meeting appointment is synced to a personal calendar instead of a business account. This may cause the user to forget the interaction.
Fortunately, this preference can be easily changed in the settings.

Scroll down to the Calendars section and tap .
On the next screen, there will be a list of all the calendars synced to your iPhone. From here, select the calendar you want it to be.
For most users, it should default to one of their iCloud accounts or a favorite Gmail account. The great thing about choosing the default is realizing that most of the content will end there. So make sure you have an easily accessible calendar.
After this is changed, all newly created appointments in the calendar will be placed in that calendar unless another calendar is selected.
Another reason to change the default calendar is Siri. When an appointment is made with Siri, the default calendar is where the event is stored.
Some users may only have one calendar attached to their phone, but it has its pros and cons. On the professional side, there is less confusion about which event goes where and less data to keep straight. The downside is that it can be very difficult to run a single calendar when there are too many appointments. It might make sense if the user is using the calendar only for work or home. But when the two come together, keeping things straight can turn into an organizational nightmare.
