The iPhone 6s release date is September 25, and there is still the opportunity to reserve an iPhone 6s for in-store pickup on release day. We’re seeing some colors and models of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus sell out for shipping on September 25, but there’s still plenty of choice, especially if you live near multiple Apple Stores.

Start your iPhone 6s reservation.
Follow these steps to reserve an iPhone 6s Plus or iPhone 6s for Store pickup on September 25. If you plan to go to an Apple Store on the release date, you should consider this option, as there are traditionally very long queues for users without reservations.
You can currently reserve an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus for online store pickup without having to enter your payment information. You will need a valid credit card and two identification documents when you get the iPhone.
go to: iPhone 6s Booking Page at Apple. Here you can select your state and store. When you start this process, be sure to go fast as inventory can change as you go through the process.
Select your location and Apple Store.
You need your Apple ID and password for this process. You can complete this on a computer, iPhone or iPad – but not within the Apple Store App.
Select your state and preferred store. You will then see the options available for in-store pickup. Many stores don’t offer 8am pickup on the day of launch, but we’ve seen multiple stores accept iPhone 6s reservations for in-store pickup for the rose gold iPhone 6s and other models.

After selecting this information, you can go ahead and sign in with your Apple ID and password. On this next screen, you need to confirm the number of iPhones you want to receive and the check-in time. You must be at the Apple Store of your choice now, or your iPhone may be sold to someone else.

Once you are sure that everything is correct on the screen, you need to click Confirm Booking to confirm the reservation with Apple.
To pick up the iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus in-store, you should receive an email confirmation approximately 10 minutes after you complete the reservation process. If you can’t see it, search for an email at: [email protected] If you don’t get it but have a screenshot of your confirmation page taken by pressing and holding the home and power button at the same time and it shows up in time, you should be fine.
Confirm your iPhone 6s reservation and save a record in case you don’t receive an email confirmation.
If you come and don’t want to use the Apple iPhone Upgrade Plan, you can choose to pay full price in the Apple Store.
