Users who can’t wait for the iOS 8 release date to try all the new iOS 8 features on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch can try the GM version of iOS 8, ahead of everyone without a developer account.
With this guide, you can install iOS 8 for free using iOS 8GM, the final version to be tested before its release next week.
Normally you’d have to pay a third party $99 or $8 a year to run iOS 8 early and deal with issues, but with the iOS 8 GM download you don’t have to do any of that.
Apple offers an iOS 8 GM download for registered developers, but you’ll soon be able to find it on websites like IMZDL; this will allow you to install iOS 8 GM on your iPhone or iPad without paying anyone to register it.
The iOS 8 release date has been confirmed for September 17, but you can try it early.
As with past iOS GM versions, you can install it without registration and you don’t have to wipe your iPhone or iPad to do it.
Unlike iOS 8 betas, iOS 8 GM download offers something to offer less problems and bugs. If you want to try iOS 8 while you can still revert to iOS 7, this is your chance.

How to Install iOS 8 GM
iOS 8 GM is available on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. You can install iOS 8 GM without saving the UDID for each device. Do not attempt to upgrade using the OS X Yosemite beta and iTunes beta versions, as you may need to restore your device if you do.

3. Plug the device into the computer and perform a backup. Installing iOS 8 GM will wipe your iPhone, so plan to wait for the restore and sync. We haven’t lost any data, but if that sounds like a hassle, wait until the official iOS 7 release date.
