This has been made possible with the help of a third-party Android app called XOutOf10 Developed by Ido Ideas. It basically adds a notch to the top of your screen and you can easily enable or disable it in seconds. So, to make iPhone X appear immediately, simply follow these steps:
- After downloading and installing the application from Google Play storeopen it and tap on “Allow Drawing Through Apps If It Is Your First Run”. Now, under the Settings section, give the app all permissions Like letting it display the notch on the lock screen, launching in the background and displaying the popup.
- This ensures that the notch is displayed every time you use the phone, regardless of whether you are using any app or not. When it comes to looks, the notch actually looks pretty good in my opinion, at least on the bezel-less Mi Mix 2. However, I think this would look weird on phones without a bezel-less display.
