While the Galaxy S8 was an instant hit for Samsung and a clear indication that the South Korean giant has made a spectacular comeback from last year’s Note 7 debacle, there were some (thankfully) minor issues that S8 users quickly noticed. One of the most annoying of these was the red tinted screens on quite a large number of Galaxy S8 phones. Samsung has released a quick fix for these devices and with it, users can easily fix the red color issue on their smartphones. Well, Here is how to fix the red tint issue on Galaxy S8:
note: The update depends on your carrier. If you have not yet received the update from your carrier, this method will not work for you. However, you can be sure that you will receive the update soon.
Fix Galaxy S8 Screen Red Tone
1. If you have received the update, “Settings -> Display -> Display Mode“.
2. Scroll down here and you should see an option that says “Full Screen Color Balance“, along with an outgoing slider From “Cold” to “Hot”. Since the screen of the device has a red tint, move the slider towards “Cool”to fix.
3. If that doesn’t get you to the perfect hue for your smartphone screen, you can tap on “.Advanced optionsTo get RGB sliders you can use to get the perfect tone on your smartphone.

4. When you are done with this, you should put your phone on its face and face the edges of the screen. If you see abnormal colors there, scroll down to “Screen edge color balance“. Tap on it and you can use the slider to make the edges cooler or warmer.

note: The “Screen edge color balance” setting is only visible if the “Advanced Options” radio button is checked.
That’s it, you should have fixed the color tones issues on the Galaxy S8’s Infinity Display with these steps. Note that if you use “Advanced Options” to fine-tune the tone of your screen, you will need to keep it enabled or the changes will be disabled until you re-enable “Advanced Options”.
