We tend to neglect the SIM card code more and more. So we either disable it or leave it with the default PIN (usually 0000 or 1234). The problem with this code is that you have to ask your carrier for a PUK unlock code when you enter too many wrong codes. But in some cases, the presence of this code can represent additional security. Therefore, we explain how to change, disable and re-enable it.

- enter inside Settings > Security > SIM card lock*
- uncheck SIM card lock
Android: how to re-enable PIN
To do this :
- enter inside Settings > Security > SIM card lock*
- tick SIM card lock
- Set a new code

- enter inside Settings > Biometrics & security > Other security settings > Set up SIM lock
- enter inside Settings > Security & privacy > Other settings > Encryption & credentials > Set up SIM card 1/SIM card 2 lock
- enter inside Settings > Additional settings > Privacy > SIM card lock
