As you can imagine, it’s as easy as pie. However, only do this in emergencies. Doze mode is one of the most promising new features of the latest update. Before the final release arrived, the Nexus 5 had almost tripled its autonomy thanks to this functionality available through the developer preview.

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update sneakily landed on the Nexus 5, 6, 7 (2013) and Nexus Player in the US last week, before finally arriving in France. The “Doze” mode offers many new features, such as the Now On Tap function that provides contextual information based on the content displayed on the screen, and the return of individual management of app permissions. In short, what a beautiful thing!
