Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers change color with September update
To everyone’s surprise, it looks like the Xbox button on Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers can change color. Thanks to the update, Color customization is finally available in controllers. This allows you to choose from a wide range of colors that now combine red, blue and green LEDs to produce over 16 million color hues. This feature is even available on the new Xbox Elite Series Core 2.
To configure Xbox button color settings, first make sure you’ve downloaded the September update and the Xbox Accessories app is up to date. then open Xbox Accessories app on your Windows console or device while your controller is connected and select the Color tab to see all the color options.
Users can now also choose different install locations for different types of games and apps on Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. suitable for installing games on external hard drives that do not need internal SSD. Finally, group chat noise cancellation, a feature added to X|S series consoles earlier this month, is finally available on Xbox One and Windows 10 and 11 PCs.
