What to do in the Dying Light 2 Aitor quest

The Dying Light 2 Aitor quest involves choosing between small or large petals of the Recluse flower to heal the Peacekeeper. The only problem? The person who told you what to do was blinded by the Peacekeepers. Dying Light 2 Aitor quest walkthrough

You will receive the Dying Light 2 Aitor quest after first reporting to the Peacekeepers’ sunken base. After talking to a few people, you will eventually meet someone named Meyer and while talking to him, Aitor will be fatally injured. This will trigger the quest and the first step will be to learn more about Aitor’s condition.

Go to the hospital and you will meet the Doctor who explains that they do not have the drugs to cure Aitor and only a local herbalist can help with his expert knowledge of herbs. Aitor’s wife doesn’t want anything to do with it but otherwise it will be a short quest so your next stop will be the herbalist.

Go to the quest marker, this will allow you to find the healer Margret. It will give you two important pieces of information: First, the small leaves of a plant called Recluse may save Aitor, while the larger ones will kill him. Oh, and by the way, the Peacekeepers gouged out because some of them died last time for not following their instructions properly. we will turn around he everything later…

Hermit flowers should be collected at night in a marked area filled with toxic chemicals and howls. So bring plenty of poison protection and be prepared to run when you inevitably trigger a chase. In general you can only collect all the flowers, so don’t waste time looking at small or large petals – just take a handful of the whole plant and quickly pop it out.

When you get back to Aitor and the doctor, you will be brought to the scene very quickly and will have to make a decision under pressure:

The correct answer here is to give little leaves to Aitor.

Giving Aitor the little petals of the Monk plant will heal him and save his life. The big ones will kill him, refusing to give him the herbs, while for the rest of the game they’ll see him squirming in bed in a coma. Lawan will tell you to give the little leaves as well. So the healer still wanted to help, despite what the Peacekeepers had done.

The only real practical consequence of all this is that if Aitor lives, he’ll eventually show up at the Fish Eye bar to prove he’s alive. He’ll bring his son, have a little chat about how to prove that his life completely saved him. It will also give you a parting gift: the Lazarus knuckles that brought you together at the start of the game.
