Last Wednesday, February 21st, fans of ‘Star Wars’ received an incredible surprise: the return of an iconic game from the franchise was announced.
We are talking about the famous ‘Battlefront’, a game that captivated fans and players of the plot in 2004 and became an important milestone in further expanding the success of the films.
Two decades after it was first launched, the Lucasfilm Games announced the return of the game with the 2005 sequel. The new feature comes with a special touch that will certainly please fans.
The beloved classics that won over fans on PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC are back, brought together in a Classic Collection that will include both parts of the game.

Game updates
The title will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and PC. Additionally, the release date has been confirmed and is earlier than many expected: March 14, 2024.
Several updates were revealed, adding extra content to the original games, which has fans very excited.
This will be combined with fundamental improvement in reaching a new generation of consoles with advanced technology.
The ‘Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection’, as already mentioned, includes both the first and second parts, all gathered in one place.
Regarding the content of the first game, we will have the addition of a map in Jabba’s Palace (on Tatooine).
In the second part, locations such as City of Clouds (Bespin), Porto (Rhen Var), The Citadel (Rhen Var) and the Arena (Yavin 4) will be included.
New playable characters were also included, especially for Battlefront II, such as Asajj Ventress and Kit Fisto.

The game will offer us the opportunity to embark on an exciting adventure through a distant galaxy, whether in Campaign Mode or participating in a Galactic Conquest.
Galactic Conquest ends up being one of the most attractive aspects, inviting us to a more immersive battle experience.
We will have to recruit troops, develop strategies and execute tactical plans to achieve the desired achievement.
In ‘Battlefront’, we will have the opportunity to relive historical battles that took place between episodes I and VI.
In the second part, we will be able to wear the uniform of the 501st Legion of Stormtroopers, fighting in the elite ranks alongside Darth Vader and the Galactic Empire.
In addition to all this, the game includes online mode, with capacity for up to 64 players on vast maps and diverse deployment options in the war zone.
