The sequel to “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” has just hit theaters nationwide and, as part of the promotion, several advertising campaigns were carried out. Some of the campaigns included items distributed in popular games and even a themed snack bar.
The most recent was the announcement of a skin of Spider-Man in the “Free Fire“, which was made available shortly after the film’s release in theaters. In addition to the new look, the game received an update with different modified items and even the showing of trailers.
Thematic items
Garena, owner of the famous mobile game, has developed a series of items that began to enter the game on May 31st. The items are being released gradually, however, some changes have already been noticeable since last Wednesday.
Among the new features are billboards and airplanes, which are used to drop players off on customized maps themed after “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.” Additionally, an in-game event allows players to earn cosmetic items.
Some of the items released include a pet skin, a parachute, an emote, and a backpack. To get them, players will have to participate in the event of collecting cards distributed throughout the game. The backpack can be obtained by logging in on June 10th.
New game mode
In addition to the new items, the update will bring a new mode game that will be available from June 9th. This mode, called “Spider Parkour”, will allow players to wear spider uniforms and battle using web shooters.
Even the scenery will be given a version inspired by New York, the city where the film is set. And that’s not all: players will also have the chance to win a themed board. To do so, simply play this mode more than six times until June 19.
