Impatience is growing among Spider-Man players and fellow fans. While the long-awaited second build on PS5 will show up under its nose on October 20, Sony had a good idea to reveal new images of its exclusivity at Comic-con in San Diego. It was time: 10 minutes of gameplay footage was shown during the PlayStation Showcase, where the game was last shown.
On the other hand, this time from a gameplay perspective, the new trailer focuses more on the history of the game. As a reminder, this new title will follow Peter Parker and Miles Morales in their superhero roles in the heart of New York City, which also opens in Brooklyn and Queens. As always, two young men have a hard time making sense of things in their double lives.

Especially since their daily lives will be turned upside down by the arrival of the Kraven hunters, but especially with the symbiote in the Big Apple. The latter also appears briefly in the trailer, suggesting that Insomniac Games is trying to keep their cartridges in that space. One thing is for sure, it risks permanently changing the way Peter Parker behaves, and therefore the way he plays.
“Our philosophy has always been to respect the history of the series and the DNA of Spider-Man”assures Bryan Intihar, the game’s senior creative director. “The same goes for Venom. While most of the character’s looks and powers/abilities are familiar to fans, this will be a unique story.” Note that a special edition of the PS5 has also been announced in the game’s colors.
