In our countries, we will have to wait another month before we can benefit from the new PlayStation Plus. While the general public agrees that the offering is generally less interesting than Xbox Game Pass, mainly due to its relatively high prices and first-party games that won’t be available on launch day, the platform is highly anticipated. by gamers, especially those who already have a subscription.
If patience is still required on our part, Sony has started rolling out its new service in several Asian countries, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Note, however, that the Premium formula is not yet available, as the manufacturer has not yet finished developing the PS1 game streaming functionality.
This is what the new PlayStation Plus looks like
This means that users who have an account in one of their countries already have access to the new PlayStation. This is the case of user damonx who kindly shared some screenshots with us on Twitter. Hence the opportunity to explore the new interface, which is drastically different from Xbox Game Pass. Here, the games are organized into several horizontal categories in the same way as movies and TV shows on Netflix.
It is also possible to browse different categories one by one, namely shooting games, RPS, even racing and puzzle games. Inside we find most of the games announced by Sony a few days ago, such as Returnal and Ghost of Tsushima. Finally, some PS1, PS2 and PSP games are also available, although there is no Premium formula, among them Jak and Worms Armaggedon.
