Fans of “Breaking Bad” and video games have always wondered what an open-world game based on the series would be like. Now, it seems like their dreams are a little closer to becoming a reality – or at least we can get a taste of what such a game would be like.
An incredible concept video, created by the folks at TeaserPlay, shows exactly that: a game inspired by “GTA 6”, but set in the “Breaking Bad” universe.
To create this concept, the TeaserPlay team used Epic Games’ Metahuman tool to recreate iconic characters from the series, such as Walter White/Heisenberg, Jesse Pinkman and Hank Schrader.
Additionally, they utilized Unreal Engine assets to bring the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico to life, and included the famous 2011 Dodge Charger driven by Walter White and Jesse Pinkman.
Fans want more
The open-world “Breaking Bad” game concept has received much praise from fans, who are calling for a major studio to take on the project and turn it into a full-fledged game.
Comments like “If you put so much effort into a game concept, you should look for a studio to develop it” demonstrate the public’s enthusiasm.
Fans have even suggested ideas for secret missions and in-game challenges, such as one in which Walter and Jesse would need to deliver snacks to Tuco and Hector while being chased by Todd and Gus.
The excitement surrounding a potential “Breaking Bad” game is evident, especially considering the series’ massive fan base and the possibility of offering a “GTA”-like experience but with its own identity.
Meanwhile, waiting for ‘GTA VI’
While eagerly awaiting a “Breaking Bad” game, fans are also counting down the days until the release of “Grand Theft Auto VI.”
While there is no official release date, speculation suggests that the game is in development and could arrive between 2024 and 2025. “GTA VI” is one of the most anticipated games of all time, and fans are eager to explore its open world and enjoy its innovative mechanics.
While we wait for more news about a possible “Breaking Bad” game and the release of “GTA VI,” fans can enjoy other games to satisfy their thirst for action and adventure.
For example, the release of “Payday 3” later this year promises to deliver a thrilling first-person shooter experience.
