Since its launch, the Disney+ series “She-Hulk” has been suffering from a wave of negative criticism from a group of haters who, perhaps, have never touched a comic featuring the character.
This generated a lot of outrage on the internet from both sides, those who liked it and those who didn’t. Thus, throughout its weekly showing on Disney+, “She-Hulk” accumulated many criticisms and unfounded comments about how the story and character progressed.
The problems the series has are well-known: people don’t ignore this, not even the production team. However, the biggest criticisms are about what the character should do.
Annoyed by the heroine’s fake fan club, the screenwriter Dan Slottwho signed the vast majority of the character’s comics, came to one of his social networks to comment on the matter.
He gave his version of what he thought of the series and defended it from negative criticism that only seeks to say what the female character should or should not do.

Translation: “Whoever says the ‘She-Hulk’ series wasn’t ‘faithful to the comics’… I’m the guy who wrote more issues of ‘SHE-HULK’ than anyone. I’ve read every comic from every She-Hulk run. And I’m saying it’s the MOST faithful series in the MCU.”
“That’s not the point. Nobody was arguing about that.”

After posting this, literally got a post starting out:
“No one’s saying the show isn’t comic accurate pal…”
Love the goal post moving, cause the whole “the show isn’t comic accurate” talking point has been going on for MONTHS. From people who clearly have never read SHE-HULK.

Translation: “After posting this, I literally got a post that started: ‘No one is saying the show isn’t faithful to the comics, mate…’. Love it [ver] the goalpost moving, because this whole ‘the series is not faithful to the comics’ thing has been going around for MONTHS. Coming from people who have clearly never read ‘SHE-HULK’.”
Naturally, the author’s reaction is consistent with the amount of negative and unfounded criticism the series has received from a portion of fans. Of all the recent adaptations of the Marvel Studios“She-Hulk” presents a consistency in the construction of its character, showing that the series can, indeed, be fun.
Much of the discomfort comes from frustrated expectations on the part of fans. And, on several occasions, the series itself and the main character criticize the breaking of the fourth wall, such as in the situations in the episodes themselves where he needs to overcome his pride and the structural machismo in his personal and professional life.
