Netflix takes innovative leap and begins testing game streaming

In recent years, streaming services have been gaining increasing space in the industry, gaining surprising notoriety and revolutionizing the way we consume media entertainment. Their growth intensified after the Covid-19 pandemic. Since then, the migration to digital media has occurred exponentially.

However, not only the streamings became famous; video games have experienced colossal growth in the last decade, currently becoming one of the main products of world entertainment.

Of course, large companies would not miss the opportunity to unify these two modalities into one, reaching an even wider audience and taking the offer of new experiences to a new level.

Considering this scenario, Netflix recently announced that it will expand its horizons beyond the films and series in its catalog, making games available directly on users’ TVs.
