Milwaukee is well stocked with 94-rated Burnes, backed by Brandon Woodruff (92) and Freddy Peralta (89). As for the Dodgers: How could Kershaw (93), Walker Buehler (92), Trevor Bauer (90) and Julio Urias (90) not tempt you? Pure filth.

The best relief shooters tend to rank closer, meaning the elite choices here are less than other fastball launching positions. William’s nasty rim change is enough for Sony San Diego to name him the game’s top savior, while Atlanta boasts ridiculous bullpen riches with Matzek, O’Day, Will Smith (81) and AJ Minter (79) ready to step in when McHugh falters. .

Grandal beats all of his opponents with eight in-game Odds to go with his high 93. These include Unfazed, which means he excels in hitting even with two hits, and Quick Reflexes that further increase his catching abilities. Dodgers’ Will Smith is the second professional player mentioned here by that name. As far as we know, neither of them has influenced any famous comedians lately.

Horribly, Guerrero earns the honor of being the game’s best first baseman at just 23 – and his A-rated potential should see you good for 15 years of power-stroke if you use the Blue Jays in franchise mode. He broke 48 home runs and 111 RBIs in a .311 clip in 2021. Fortunately, both Olson and Muncy are both able to play 3D and while the latter also claim second base, it’s a position where the Dodgers are stacked again.

Semien’s 45-homer, 102-RBI 2021 campaign earned him a big move from Toronto to Texas in the off-season and the highest 2D rating in MLB The Show 22. It’s a pretty big five-point game between him and his closest rival, Altuve, who dropped to third place after the Albies topped that chart last year.

Ramirez is the first player to make this venerable annual roster under Cleveland’s new Guardians moniker, but he still can’t replace Arenado from the top spot. The Cardinals veteran took a minor ratings hit, but dropped from 98 at MLB The Show 21 to the slightly more modest (yet overbearing) 95. He crushed 34 homers and 105 RBIs in 2021.

MLB The Show 21 cover star Tatis will miss the first months of the season after suffering a broken wrist surgery, but that hasn’t stopped him from ranking on par with Turner at the top of the short-term tree. There’s a huge gulf between this massive duo and those below them, but that doesn’t mean Bichette, Baez, and Correa are lazy—nor is Boston’s Trevor Story, a handy 86.
