The Fortnite Ripsaw Launcher is a new weapon capable of serious destruction and is mostly found in the Chop Shop. Where to find a Ripsaw Launcher in Fortnite?

The best place to get yourself a Ripsaw Launcher is the Chop Shop in the cold north section of the Fortnite map. A large red workshop building roughly northeast of Logjam Lotus. Go inside and you’ll find several Ripsaw Launchers lying on the ground. From the ground floor of the main workshop, you can also access a smaller gray garage building, one wall of which is filled with Ripsaw Launchers.
As part of the Ripsaw Launcher week that runs until July 5th, Ripsaw Launchers have more spawn locations and can be found beyond the Chop Shop. They can appear on the ground, in chests, and in supply drops, so you may not even have to go to the Chop Shop to get one. Note that Ripsaw Launcher is not available in competitive playlists! Take any and slice them.
How to use Fortnite Ripsaw launcher
The Ripsaw Launcher comes with 12 saw blades and can hold three at once, so ammo is very limited. Although, this balances the destructive power of the Torn Saw Launcher, as the saw blades stick to any destructible object and deal continuous damage until they break, meaning it can absolutely shatter structures both player-made and on the map.
You have to hold down the fire button to accelerate the launcher to increase the range and speed of each saw blade. Speeding up also makes it a Fortnite melee weapon, so you can slash enemies and any structures up close. Overall, it’s not exactly easy to use or something you should whip up in the middle of combat, but if you have inventory space, it might be something to look forward to, especially in battle royale modes with builds enabled.
How to destroy Timber Pines with the Ripsaw Launcher in Fortnite?
One of week 4 Fortnite takes on the task of knocking down five Timber Pines using the Ripsaw Launcher. The first step is to get yourself a Ripsaw Launcher, so it’s best to land in the Chop Shop and loot one from there. Next, go outside and look for tall, pine trees with thick trunks and light green needles. These are the Fortnite Timber Pines located in the snowy northwest part of the map that you must destroy. We found at least six of these pine trees around the Chop Shop, so you don’t have to go far to find them.
Stand in front of a Timber Pine, charge your Ripsaw Launcher and fire a saw blade into the tree. The saw blade will stick to the tree and will cause continuous damage until the tree is destroyed. Repeat this four more times and the challenge will be completed in no time and you’ll earn yourself 15,000 XP in the process, so don’t miss out on some easy level ups for your battle pass.
