To find your PS5 screenshots and video clips, you need to browse the PlayStation 5 Media Gallery, where all these privately documented moments are stored. Whether it’s a great story moment, a trophy win, or a great gameplay achievement you want to immortalize and share with the world, this is where all those good moments are hidden.
The PS5 Media Gallery is pretty well hidden inside the menus so it can’t be found easily, so check out our guide below and we’ll explain exactly how you can get to it.
How to access your PS5 Media Gallery
The first way to access your PS5 Media Gallery is to tap on the Create Button, which displays the compose controls under standard button setup. Swipe left to the image you took most recently, then press X to browse through your recent screenshots and videos. This will also bring up the Go to Media Gallery option, so select this to navigate to your full PS5 Media Gallery space.
The other way to access your PS5 Media Gallery is to swipe all the way to the right of your recent games to go to the Home screen and then select the Game Library icon. Next, press R1 to go to the Installed tab, then scroll to the end of the Console storage section at the top where you will see the Media Gallery icon. Select it, then follow the Open prompt on the next screen to access the full PS5 Media Gallery area. Taking this route has the advantage of adding the Media Gallery icon to your recently used games title on the Home screen, so you can get there faster in the future.
