Of course, this means more money you can spend on your campus, so it’s in your best interest to cheer up your students by offering lots of fun opportunities and keeping your Two Point Campus buildings clean and decoratively interesting. Here’s what you need to know about Two Nokta Campus Student Happiness and how to increase it.
Two Point Campus Student Happiness explained
Student Happiness is a really important status at Two Point Campus and keeping it at a reasonable level should be one of your main priorities. In the lower right corner of your screen, you will find the average Student Happiness of all your students. We think keeping it above 60% – but ideally 70% or higher – will be enough to run your campus. You can check how individual students are feeling by clicking on them or looking at the full list under Personnel Management.
The most important thing to remember is that happy students learn faster and Two Point Campus student grades are better. Better grades mean few or no failing students who might drop out and stop paying fees, and you can get some reward at the end of each year. Students who feel happy will also move a little faster.
Conversely, grumpy students will refuse to pay their tuition fees and may even quit. There’s no way to get students back once they’ve dropped out or been suspended, so if you’ve had an unhappy undergraduate exit, it could be the end of your campus as you’re losing funding from tuition fees. How to Improve Student Happiness Statistics on Two-Point Campus
Two Points Campus Student Happiness is a difficult statistic to keep up with as it can be quite expensive. However, there are many small things you can do to increase happiness for your students:
Build dormitories for your students to rest: Your students may lose their happiness as they get tired, so adequate dormitories are important. Two Point Campus offers one bed for every five students.
Provide common areas for students: Students will gain happiness by having fun and making friends. Student Lounges and Student Unions are great places to do this, so be sure to stock them with tables, sofas, and games. Table Football tables are inexpensive and perfect for friendships and entertainment. Even some water coolers, benches and social tables in the hallways can help.
A clean student is a happy student: Adequate toilet and shower facilities will allow your students to keep themselves clean, healthy and not in a hurry to use the restroom. To maintain a high standard of hygiene, be sure to place ample litter boxes and hand sanitizer in rooms and around your campus.
Make your campus a comfortable and attractive environment: In addition to keeping your campus clean to support hygiene, students also take care of attractive rooms. Make sure it has a good Room Prestige by filling your rooms with items that increase attractiveness, hygiene and thermal comfort. Posters, plants, and trash cans are essential for every room, and some campuses have dramatic climates that may require you to add radiators or air conditioners to maintain a comfortable temperature.
Provide food: Scatter to many places for your students and staff to grab some food or a quick drink. Vending machines are inexpensive and do not require a helper to operate, unlike a variety of food and coffee stalls, but they are often more unsanitary. Start with vending machines and then gradually replace them with food and beverage stalls and use more assistants to operate them. Students will still want these food stands often!
Schedule Events: Student Hall and Student Union parties and Funny Movie events in Lecture Halls are great ways to boost your students’ morale and happiness. Make sure you plan them evenly throughout the academic year to give your students a steady boost of happiness. You can even set them to happen every year, so you only have to schedule them once, even though you pay each time.
Complete Personal Objectives and Missions: Students send Personal Goals to your Message inbox. Make sure to check your inbox regularly and complete the objectives as soon as possible. If you don’t have the required Two Point Campus kudosh to spend, you may need to decline this objective. Students will also gain some happiness after completing an assignment.
Campus Staff with Comic Relief qualification: If you have any campus staff trained in Comic Relief, they have a 5% chance to entertain a student and increase their happiness by 10%. Staff can also be trained in Comic Help using a Training Room.
Solving health and pastoral issues: Adding Medical Offices and Pastoral Support rooms to your campus will allow students to facilitate whatever brings them down. It’s more about reducing unhappiness than increasing happiness. Injured students or those with pastoral issues are subject to punishments for their happiness, so the right support and facilities mean they can offset these influences and be happier. Sometimes students may not think to go, but you can click on them and get the option to send them to both rooms below their stats.
How to increase staff happiness in Two Point Campus?
It’s also important to make sure your employees are happy, too. Although Two Point Campus does not show employee happiness as prominently as Student Happiness does, you can still control individual employee happiness under Personnel Management. Miserable staff can refuse to work and resign if nothing is done to help them, so remember it’s not all about the students! To increase staff happiness, you can:
Create a good Staff Room: As with Student Lounges and Unions, Staff Rooms need to be filled with things that will keep them healthy and fun. Sofas, Snack Tables and Drink Tables are great additions to any Staff Room.
Pay them: One of the main reasons staff are unhappy and resign is because you can’t pay their salaries. Making sure you’re making a profit to fund your staff is obvious, but depending on the campus and finances it can actually be quite challenging.
Pay them (more): Under the ‘Policy’ tab of the Campus Overview, you can add a salary policy for your staff, including salary reviews and universal increases to salaries as they become more profitable. You can also click on individual staff members or select them under Staff Management and adjust their salary to be happier.
Happy Thoughts qualification: Employees with these qualities are also good at making themselves happy, so it’s a good idea to train employees who don’t yet have these qualities.
Allow staff to take a break: Your employees should be pretty good at taking breaks to get their energy back, but if they’re unhappy and low on energy, be sure to check in on your staff and send them on breaks. Under Campus Policy, you can also set the threshold for staff to take a break. Increasing the threshold means staff take more frequent breaks and regain their energy.
Hire more staff: If you have a profit to justify hiring more staff, this is great for easing the load on your current employees. It lets you spend more time training, resting and researching, but it’s also very costly!
