Ready for Lost Ark endgame content? Twisting Phantom Legion Chaos Gates are not for the heartless, but they will come with shiny card packs, useful upgrade materials and Legendary Secret Maps. Yes, we are talking about maps sold for hundreds of gold at Lost Ark’s auction house.

Safe to say, you want to get into Lost Ark Twisting Legion challenges. But how can I open them? Where can I find them? Phantom Legion, Plague Legion, Chaos Legion… Is there a difference?

How to unlock Chaos Gate events in Lost Arks

If you open Procyon’s Compass (the icon just below your minimap) after completing the main story in Lost Ark, it will tell you that the Chaos Gates became available at level 50. If your level isn’t high enough yet, keep doing World Quests. and join other endgame events (Ghost Ships, Field Bosses) until you’re ready.

Lost Arc Chaos Gate location

To find a Chaos Gate location, click the ‘appear notification info’ button in Procyon’s Compass and hover over the next available list of Chaos Gates. You will see the following four names:

• Twisted Chaos Legion
• Twisting Dark Legion
• Twisted Plague Legion
• Twisted Ghost Legion

But instead of focusing on the name, look for the required item level and choose a Chaos Gate that suits your character. Also, take a good look at the program, as the Gates of Chaos appear randomly. If there is no Chaos Gate scheduled for today, try again tomorrow.

Click on the little compass icon next to the name to find the Chaos Gate location. This will open a region map. One of the smaller map locations will light up momentarily; This is where you will find the Chaos Gate location. You can already fast travel to the area, but the exact spawn point will only be announced less than ten minutes before the event starts.

Clearing a Lost Arc Chaos Gate is rewarded with the following items:

• card packs. Grants a random card for your deck.

The Chaos Gate events are pretty straightforward. This quick walkthrough is for the Twisting Phantom Legion Chaos Gate, but its Darkness, Plague, and Chaos counterparts are practically identical.

• Go to Chaos Gate and be ready to enter as soon as it appears. Gates of Chaos is popular, but only has room for 30 players. Try to be fast.
• You will be transported to the Ghost Lands. There is a very short cutscene where Twisting Phantom Legion boss Kokuril calls you a weak and stupid mortal. Your goal is to land him in twenty minutes (timer in the upper left corner).
• Knock down the obstacles and kill every enemy in your way. Always stick to the group. After encountering some mini-bosses, you will soon meet Kokuril.

3. Are there more than 30 players waiting for the Chaos Gate? Then you have to act fast if you want to get in. Camp in front of the gate, close your chat window (this is important) and as soon as the Chao Gate appears, click ‘G’ and then ‘login’.
4. Are there much less than 30 players? In this case, ask people to join the conversation. It’s best not to go in with a small group, as you’re less likely to survive an event of 30 people.
