As you know, GTA V and its Online mode are coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Many graphics improvements in the program of this version, optimized for next-generation consoles: 4K 60 FPS, Ray Tracingbetter population and plant density, more diverse road traffic, reworked light and shadow effects, and even better reflections in the water.
Of course, this version will also take advantage of the SSD of the last two machines from Microsoft and Sony to offer significantly reduced load times. Initial tests confirm this: loading the map now takes 27 seconds on PS5 instead of one minute and thirty-seven seconds on PS4.

An error prevents transferring progress in a particular state
without surprise, Rockstar has also confirmed that it will be possible to export your progress to Story Mode and Online. PS4 and Xbox One versions on PS5 and Xbox Series X. This will require going through the Rockstar Games Social Club platform to import characters, stats, bank account, owners, weapons, clothing, and jobs into news releases when installing the game.
However, there is a catch. Players who have migrated their GTA Online PS4 or Xbox One account to PC cannot migrate their account to PS5 and Xbox Series X.. The source of this blockage is unknown at this time, but don’t panic, Rockstar is aware of the situation. Studio, “currently working to resolve this issue” and players will be notified as soon as the transfer process runs again.
To remind you, the transition to the next generation version of GTA V is not free. To get the whole package, including solo mode and multimode, you will have to pay a total of 39.99 €. However, you can enjoy it on PS5 for a promotional price of €9.99 for three months after its launch. On Xbox Series the campaign is shown for € 19.99, while GTA Online can also be purchased for € 9.99.
